In 1981 wine and food visionaries Julia Child, Robert Mondavi and Richard Graff founded The American Institute of Wine & Food, a national educational organization dedicated to advancing the understanding, appreciation and quality of wine and food.
The Monterey Bay Chapter is one of many across the United States. Along with our sister chapters and the national organization, we promote an exchange of ideas that benefit both professionals and dedicated enthusiasts through publications and programs.
Membership is open to all. It is a wonderful way to meet knowledgeable people in the industry and simply a great way to meet others with common interests. We encourage you to attend one of two of our events as a guest. AIWF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization.
